Field Service Technician in Gaylord, Michigan
Summary/Objective Under limited supervision, the service technician - mechanic position performs work of considerable difficulty in the repair and maintenance of logging machines (harvesters and forwarders) at the customers job sites; performs related work as assigned.

- Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs logging machines.
- Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of logging machines.
- Prepares and maintains records and reports.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must have, or be able to obtain a CDL license.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to the outdoor weather elements. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7a.m. to 5p.m.
